basically trump seems to be taking the pragmatic side- "leaving it like it is" would allow persons and companies to prosecute pervs who molest others in bathrooms.

whereas passing new laws (when its already illegal for men to use womens bathroooms, without 'special laws') invites all the loonies to obsess on this topic endlessly for no reason.

Trump is trying to get elected while swimming in an ocean of sharks and piranhas.

He won't approach this now. Not worth the fight while trying to get elected.

About all he can do (for legal reasons) is say 'Just leave it like it is.' without getting sued.

This issue will go to the USSC.
