Israel/Zionism See other Israel/Zionism Articles Title: HHS and DOE want to be your children's parents from birth Dear friends, At this past meeting of ACG, I presented new information on the Federal agenda for control of our families from prenatal childhood onwards. The information comes from a draft policy statement published last fall by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in partnership with the U.S. Department of Education. I have attached the document for you to print and distribute. The online address is: https://www.acf.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/ecd/draft_hhs_ed_family_engageme nt.pdf On Friday, May 13 from 3:00 to 5:00pm, ACG member Ann Campbell will be at the Symmes Library on Pelham Rd. to provide you with a printed copy and organize our group to distribute this information. Please be there! In the document, you will find a plan outlined to âengageâ American families with Federal oversight and direction. Having carefully reviewed the document, I have come to the conclusion that this agenda poses a grave threat to the family as we know it, and therefore to liberty itself. This draft policy statement depicts a society where the family unit is surrounded on all sides by Federal influence with the express purpose of changing behavior. I believe it is the next step in the implementation of the more sinister aspects of Obamacare. The stated goal in the document is to systematically engage families in their childrenâs development, learning, and wellness, across early childhood and elementary education settings. In my understanding and research, âdevelopment,â âlearning,â and âwellnessâ are code words for deviant sex education, compliance with national curriculum standards, and mental and behavioral health management. Further, âengagementâ as used in this document can be shown to be a code word for âcompelled cooperation.â Examples of concerning elements in this document include: âAll families must be treated
as equal partners in their childâs learning and development.â (Page 8) âThe role of parents
[is important] in supporting childrenâs development and education at home and school so that childrenâs learning experiences are reinforced in positive ways.â (Page 5) âEarly childhood programs should give families access to their children at any time.â (Page 11) âEnsure constant monitoring and communication regarding childrenâs social-emotional and behavioral health. Ensure that these needs are met
.â (Page 6) âTo support ongoing relationship building with families, programs and schools should conduct periodic home visits
.â (Page 13) âPrograms should establish partnerships with community-based health and social service providers and make appropriate referrals when families need help and children are in vulnerable situations
like mental health difficulties
.â (Page 14) >â
Goals [will be] determined by local communities, in partnership with families. They may include hiring a family engagement specialist
[who will] refer families to social services as needed.â (Page 10) Please carefully examine this document and do what you can to take action against this increasing Federal incursion. If youâd like to get involved, please make sure to be at Symmes Library on Friday between 3:00 and 5:00 to get plugged in to this effort. Respectfully, R. Josiah Magnuson, ACG Director P.S.
