Spain has been fighting that forever. Their location to Africa has always been a thing... They call em moors. And until they say NO the moors will keep on invading spain....Its been that way since Christ.
Jews and Muslims were kicked out in 1492. Catalonia wants to separate. If the Catalonians were to kick out the Muslims, the crisis would destroy France and Spain which borders them. Their biggest city is Barcelona and it is full of Muslims.
The 1.63 million population of Barcelona only includes residents within the administrative limits. Barcelona has an urban area much larger with a population of more than 4.6 million, which makes it the 6th most populous urban area in the European Union.
Think what would happen to Spain. They are broke with 50% unemployment for young people. The people paying taxes in Catalonia would stop paying taxes to Madrid. The Spanish and the French would get 110 of thousands of Muslim refugees. The people in Madrid would then have to support the Muslims. Riots would break out. The EU would probably collapse which would be a good thing.
