Likely Terrorist Attack Downed EgyptAir Flight 804 by Stephen Lendman At 11:09 PM local time Wednesday, Flight MS804 with 66 passengers and crew en route from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport to Cairo went missing over the Mediterranean Sea. French President Francois Hollande said the plane “went down and is lost.” It’s too early to know if what happened was technical failure or terrorism, the latter most likely. Radar contact was lost at 37,000 feet. According to Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos, the aircraft “made abrupt turns, suddenly lost altitude just before vanishing from radar.” It plunged into the sea 20 minutes before its scheduled landing time. Search and rescue efforts are underway. The pilot reported no problems while in Greek airspace. Forty-five of the 56 passengers aboard were Egyptian or French nationals. Others were from 10 additional countries. According to Egypt’s aviation minister, “the possibility of…a terror attack is higher than…a technical” problem. The Airbus plane crashed between Greece and Egypt. Greek officials reported debris spotted 230 miles south of Crete. State TV ERT said “orange- colored” objects believed to be lifejackets were seen floating. A merchant ship captain reported a “flame in the sky” about 130 nautical miles south of Karpathos island. Clear weather was reported when the plane disappeared. Russian Federal Security Service director Alexander Bortnikov said what happened “most likely (was) a terrorist attack…” He called on “all interested parties, including (in) Europe, to take measures to identify persons involved in this terrible attack.” French submarines reportedly may be deployed to locate the plane’s black boxes. A bomb planted on Russia’s Kolavia Metrojet Flight 7K9268 en route from Sharm El-Sheik, Egypt to St. Petersburg last October killed all 224 passengers and crew members - the deadliest accident in modern Russian aviation history. There's been some speculation that there may have been some sort of rudder failure given the violent change direction of this aircraft. Now NBC is saying that intelligence people claim infrared imagery suggests there was an explosion. And here, courtesy of the Greek civil aviation, is a timeline of flight MS804's last moment including the numerous attempts to reach it. 02:24: EgyptAir flight 804 from Paris to Cairo enters Greek airspace, air traffic controller permissions it for the remainder of its course. 02:48: The flight is transferred to the next air traffic control sector and is cleared for exit from Greek airspace. “The pilot was in good spirits and thanked the controller in Greek.” 03:27: Athens air traffic control tries to contact the aircraft to convey information on the switch of communications and control from Athens to Cairo air traffic. In spite of repeated calls, the aircraft does not respond, whereupon the air traffic controller calls the distress frequency, without a response from the aircraft. 03:29: It is above the exit point (from Greek airspace). 03:39:40: The aircraft signal is lost, approximately 7 nautical miles south/southeast of the KUMBI point, within Cairo FIR. Immediately the assistance of radars of the Hellenic Air Force is requested to detect the target, without result. 03:45: The processes of search and rescue are initiated, simultaneously informing the Flight Information Region of Cairo. Most critical appears to be the 2 minute interval from 3:27 to 3:29, when according to the Greek defence minister cited by the Guardian, there was a dramatic change in the plane's attitude and direction. Of course the media would rather use the word "bomb" than missile, being that the US along with its "allies" have proliferated shoulder fired surface to air missiles to terrorists these past several months.

My comment from the article I posted earlier today: Well, the timing is certainly convenient since the TSA has been under fire recently for long lines at airports and not enough TSA agents available. TSA warned flyers' patience at "breaking point" over long lines People are getting fed up - what better way to get the sheep in line than to stage an airliner explosion. That will shut the ungrateful peons up. During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
It might just be speculation, for now, but I'd say the probability is high.
I saw that, but the thing is the plane didn't depart from the US, it left from France. Might they try to use the event as a pretext for more money to hire TSA agents, probably. Thing is, I think it was a group of ISIS/Al-Qaeda folks armed by the US with MANPADS who brought it down, thinking it was another Russian jet. These days it pays to watch the investigations carefully. Lots of folks will be looking closely for tell-tale signs of cover up.

The problem looking at flight schedules on the net is that it's good for finding future flights, but not for past ones. I see there's an Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Cairo leaving tomorrow that arrives in Cairo at 3:30 AM, where Flight 804 was 10 miles into Egyptian airspace when it disappeared at 3:29 AM this morning... I think we're onto something.
And of course, at 3:29 AM the colors would be indistinguishable between the Aeroflot and EgyptAir A320 aircraft.
