Okay I'm thinking like this. SO instead of Dick Cheney we call him Dick Smith. Dick Smith and John Doe go bird hunting together with 3 other people. They apparently are getting out of cars and shooting captive flocks of birds. The hostess of the party stays in the car. Apparently John Doe is standing BEHIND Dick Smith, where the entire party presumably is standing. Dick Smith whirls around, behind HIMSELF, and shoots 78 year old Dick Smith in the face and chest with some caliber of shot - bird shot, whatever. He is so close that the shot penetrates whatever outdoor clothing Smith was wearing on a chilly winter day near sun down. Now for nearly a day nothing is reported to the press and the major testimony is from Mrs. Republican Hostess who was in the car when all this happened.
