His latest pick is South Carolina Congressmen, Trey Gowdy. And the position Trump endorsed him for should strike fear into the hearts of liberals. Trump tweeted his support for Trey Gowdy to be his Attorney General. And judging by his work as Chairman of the Benghazi Select Committee, the rule of law would return to America after an eight year exile under the Obama regime. As Chairman of the Benghazi Select Committee, Gowdy has uncovered: The Obama regime’s stand down order that prevented military assets from rescuing our personnel under terrorist attack. Hillary Clinton’s secret email server; where she possibly committed criminal violations by using it to transmit classified intelligence. The Obama regime stonewalling the Committee’s work to interview key witnesses that would allow the body to get to the bottom of the regime’s actions before, during, and after the Benghazi attacks. As Attorney General, Gowdy could also correct the mistakes of the Obama regime if they slow walk criminal charges against Hillary over her private email server. The Obama regime’s response to the scandal, led by current Attorney General Loretta Lynch, has left many wondering if partisan politics are overriding the rule of law. Legal experts such as Fox News Judge Andrew Napolitano believe there is a “100% certainty” the FBI has enough evidence to charge and convict Hillary. Gowdy’s reputation includes instances where he has put the integrity of the investigation above partisan gain. When House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy declared the Benghazi investigation was why Hillary’s numbers were tanking, Gowdy reacted swiftly by condemning McCarthy’s remarks, even though McCarthy outranks him in the House Republican Caucus. Nominating Trey Gowdy for Attorney General would give the American public confidence that a Trump Administration would act only within the bounds of the Constitution and would always uphold the rule of law. After eight years of a lawless Obama regime, Trump publicly supporting Gowdy for Attorney General could also boost his attacks on “Crooked Hillary” by framing his campaign as an outsider who can clean up the mess in Washington.
