(RNS) The more mixed the Sunday morning pews are, the fewer people are likely to be in them.

That’s the primary finding of a new study from Baylor University published in the current Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion.

Researchers studied the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, where racial diversity doubled from 1993 to 2012, and found that, at the same time, churches with the greatest diversity growth also had the steepest declines in attendance.

Kevin Dougherty, an associate professor of sociology at Baylor and lead author on the study, said the findings should not be taken as a stab at racial diversity in churches.

Rather, he said, it shows congregations that are not originally started — “planted,” in church parlance — as diverse will have a tough time becoming so after their planting.........

(Let's demilitarize the Planet then, duh. How much of modern hi-tech militarization is simply the world trying to keep up with and defend itself from the USSA -- starting with the atom bomb?)

Many years ago the local birdcage liner did a survey of churches expressly aimed at shaming the white ones for remaining de-facto monoracial after all the social engineering -- but the editors didn't divulge where they spent their Sunday mornings. Diversity is the great killer of white society. Take your pick -- churches, naberhoods, offices, clubs, it always has the same effect, making it a ready- made tool for Jue supremacy and subversion. Very few poachers in the Korean DMZ due to lots of unexploded mines.

Must mean lots of poor animals ripped to pieces with no idea why anybody would do this to them. Isn't technology a blessing?

How the world was lost:The African population of Zimbabwe had increased from an estimated 300,000 in 1890 to 7 million in 1980. This phenomenal increase was the result of the development of a modern infrastructure, first-world health standards and the bountiful crop harvests produced by the white Rhodesian farmers.
By July 2006, the population had almost doubled to 13 million, the result of a symbiotic relationship that had been forged between the 3,400 commercial farmers and the other inhabitants. (IMPACT newsletter)

The ones that are heavy enough to trip a mine, yes. But, nevertheless, the mines do offer protection which they would not ordinarily have.

True, but I think they have to be something like 70 lbs. to trigger. Place is supposed to be full of pheasants which are too light to be blown up. Still the wildlife is under threat from agriculture.

Now that's an interesting angle. Since war ruins everything, how many people permanently lost houses, farms, businesses and incomes in the DMZ? It's 400sm, 1/211 of the total Korean area, the equivalent of 40,000sm here -- bigger than South Carolina.

(Translation: sorry, folks, but the thugs running me say something bad will happen to me if I do that.)

Since war ruins everything,

Bad for humans in this case but good for the wildlife. Like Chernobyl.
