Potential liberation from the symptom called high cholesterol Alterations in cholesterol and blood lipids is usually a sign that the body is calling for help.
While I do believe that the low goals for lipids recommended by the medical establishment are designed to get as many people as possible on a statin, or cholesterol drug, I also believe that high cholesterol levels do warrant intervention.
The problem with the drug approach is that is does not target the true problems and the drugs are very toxic. Most people report feeling poorly while taking them and for good reason; we need our cholesterol for hormonal health as well as brain function. Intervening with statins cuts off the process of important metabolism. Possible side effects of statins include: muscle breakdown and kidney failure, memory loss, low vitamin D and other hormone levels.
If your body is generating high lipids and cholesterol, it is probably responding to an internal crisis that needs to be addressed with proper essential dietary oils, supplements, nutritional overhaul, and an exercise program that works for you. - See more at: http://drsuzanne.net...gh-cholesterol/ - Author (Medical Training: Internal Medicine and Nephrology)
