a friend sent me this video and it is pretty damned funny, and well said. I disagree with him about discouraging people to vote though. I am not sure if they count the votes, but if someone wants to vote I would not discourage them from doing so. If they do count the votes, which I hope they do, then I still think that trump would be much better than Hillary. I am not convinced that trump will not win. I hope he does. But in general, this guy's message is spot on.

The US will collapse economically very soon. You cannot project our past into the future as things will change radically as soon as the Nationwide Food Riots start.

I do not believe that. If it were to occur i'd be ready, since its always smart to be prepared for any disaster. however, I've been hearing this gloom and doom and even on this board specifically, for over a decade. heck, ive actually been hearing it since i was born. There is always a sense of urgency as if the end is near and the sky is falling. I don't buy it, and for very good reason.

I go on a lot of vacations and there are a hell of a lot of people doing the same. going out to nice restaurants, buying annual Disney passes which cost nearly a grand, having fun at the beach, taking cruises, buying new cars- I just helped two family members buy brand new cars in the past 3 months. I am on vacation now.

I don't buy into this gloom and doom stuff and I will bet that people will be here posting in 2, 3, 5 years from now posting about how the end is imminent.

the money masters don't want you eating dogs in the street, they want to keep fleecing the people through incrementalism and burdensome taxation. and that they will continue to do for decades to come.

A Depression is a period in time when Unpayable Debts are cancelled en masse.

We have a system based on the Bank of England which has given since 1694 banks the benefit of interest on money they create out of nothing. In an American history book written in the 1950s, the authors (Steele and Commager) wrote of The Great Contraction which was the longest Depression in American history. It is now called the Long Depression. Why? Because the Bankers do not want you to understand that Depressions are caused by Monetary Contractions.

Since banks create money when they make a loan, it stands to reason that money is destroyed when you repay the loan. Money is also destroyed when you discharge debts in bankruptcy courts or in foreclosures. That contraction of the Money Supply is what makes for more unemployment.

The Federal Reserve has been creating lots of money. During the Mortgage Backed Security crisis, Bernanke loaned out $17 trillion at 0.01% interest to keep Bankers out if jail. During the Dot Com crisis the amount of near money was greatly increased because Blythe Masters of J P Morgan had invented Credit Default Swaps.

Dr Steve Keen said we will have the worst Financial Crisis we have had in five centuries because we have more Unpayable Debts to cancel than anytime in 500 years.

Doomsday was postponed by the invention of CDS and by 700% increases in the Monetary base at the FED and similar increases in China, Japan, the B of E and the ECB.

This system is going down.

Unpayable Debts are a burden because you have to pay interest. Hence, the need for low interest rates.

The money velocity of the US has declined 40% since 2000. Big investors are making major billion dollar bets on the economy tanking soon.

If the US stock market, which is over valued, declines, foreigners will sell stocks and dump dollars. Some of that money will go into gold and silver. But all of it will go into other currencies thus lowering our wages and raising prices.(I count gold as a currency.) We could face the same problem as Canada as the dollar declines. The Canadians were paying $3.00 for a cucumber a few months ago. When that happens in America, I guarantee riots and a massive flight of capital sending the dollar even lower. That will raise interest rates over night which will destroy the US economy.

Thanks for the ping.

I have said, and will continue to say that WWIII won't be fought without China playing a lead role.

Russia won't go it alone without China.

China won't do it as long as they continue to profit from the perpetual cash cow of the USA feeding them. They need this to survive right now, but won't be dependent on the USA for many more years.

That being said, a 'flashpoint' cold occur at any given moment, and this has been the case since the world entered the nuclear weapons age.

good points, that's why its always best to be ready to meet the Lord, we never know at any given second could be our last. I have always been very conscious of that. so the same applies to vacations, or working or wherever we are. I got hit by a maniac on a motorcycle in turkey last year!

two years ago my best friend went to make his mom breakfast and was dead of a heart attack three hours later, at 45 yrs old. he left a widow and four daughters.

nothing would or could surprise me.
