Blue Skies - The Revised Version
by Kathy Ornstein (windows media player - listen here)
I live south of Chicago, and in typical fashion, after a front moves through, there was heavy spraying. At 7:30am the sky was clear blue, by 10:00am, the southern horizon was a milky white from the jets just laying down, white, thick, spreading clouds that turned the sky a soupy haze. It is clockwork after every front, that this goes on.
Thay's exactly what I noticed after watching those damn things for at least five years.
They spray them the day before a front is supposed to come through and it's always before a low pressure system. Sometimes it's right after it moves through, such as yesterday.
Hey Grumble. How are you! Yes, I did notice. In fact, when I drove into town from I-80 on Wednesday, it was the first thing I noticed. And wouldn't you know it. My asthma (I think it's asthma?) kicked in Friday, after months of being under control.
