We had -- Q So he wasn't, and you weren't? THE VICE PRESIDENT: Correct. We'd taken a break at lunch -- go down under an old -- ancient oak tree there on the place, and have a barbecue. I had a beer at lunch. After lunch we take a break, go back to ranch headquarters. Then we took about an hour-long tour of ranch, with a ranch hand driving the vehicle, looking at game. We didn't go back into the field to hunt quail until about, oh, sometime after 3:00 p.m. The five of us who were in that party were together all afternoon. Nobody was drinking, nobody was under the influence. Nobody was drinking. You don't hunt with people who drink. That's not a good idea. We took a BBQ lunch break in the field under a tree and he had a beer. Then they went back to ranch headquarters. They went back out hunting quail at about 3:00 p.m.. Nobody was drinking, nobody was under the influence. Uh huh. Notice that they had lunch in the field and then went back to the ranch headquarters. The beer was in the field with them. Presumably that was just ONE (1) beer and Cheney drank it while everyone else drank their Dr. Pepper and watched him drink his ONE (1) beer. Uh huh. When did they eat lunch? When did they finish lunch? Had the beer passed through his system by 3:00 p.m.? Wait a minute. What beer? Nobody was drinking. You don't hunt with people who drink. That's not a good idea. Nobody was drinking, nobody was under the influence. Wait a minute. Maybe he was parsing. If it is not Wild Turkey or the equivalent, it is not considered drinking. Whatever. Brit Hume let it slide.
Q Was anybody drinking in this party?

It is pretty self expanatory, Jethro. YOU (that would be YOU, Jethro Tull) have shown to us all (meaning that your actions have demonstrated to everyone who views them) that you share many of their viewpoints. While it's obvious that Cheney and Whittington and the rest are lying, nothing will happen. This event has proven that the VP of the United States can shoot a 78 year old man in the face and nothing will happen except the stupid old bastard will apologize for getting in the way. I hope Whittington croaks, frankly. My sympathy is gone.
This is one of those very technical questions, for which I have no answer. But this I swear; THIS STATUS WILL NOT STAND!
I don't think Fynnman Lives is a Clown because there is no thread on ClownPosse about these two food fights he created. When ClownPosse makes a food fight on another board their consistant modus-operandi is to have a thread about the fight running on their own board as well. I still think we may have a PROFESSIONAL NWO/Neo-Con disinfo agent here. Checked NoName as well. (Most of the more infamous Clowns now operate out of that forum now rather than the regular ClownPosse site.) No sign of the Fynnman Lives food fights there either.
Did any on this site note the Cocktails after the accident comment? ~Armstrong, a longtime friend of the Cheney family, told CNN before the vice president's interview that she never saw Cheney or Whittington "drink at all on the day of the shooting until after the accident occurred, when the vice president fixed himself a cocktail back at the house." ~ http://www.cnn.c om/2006/POLITICS/02/15/cheney/index.html rather interesting.

I know it struck me odd when I read the report about the dinner they had.. I thought why would they mention that?? .. out of touch ..
Having "a beer" at lunch in between outings hunting is not "drinking and hunting". I don't know what's worse, getting fired up over this, or getting fired up over the VP throwing a load of 28 gauge #9 into his buddy. This has GOT to be the front runner for "Supidest Non Story of 2006". Granted, they fell afoul of knowing where everyone was, but separate the freakin' incident from politics and world events. Additionally, politicians for the most part are, IME, lousy hunters in general. It's because they don't do it regularly, and they generally don't do the "dirty part" (cleaning, carrying, etc...) either. I've hunted when younger with a few Senators and Congressmen and one Senator in particular I remember as having to tell more than once not to point his weapon at me. One thing I learned alongside the "every single one is always loaded" rule was that there is no barrier of station to calling someone out on firearms safety... If there is one morsel of wisdom from this story, it's that no one, not even the "mighty" are immune from screwing up if they slack off. Other than that, just be thankfull they weren't turkey hunting (where everone wears camo and uses 000 buckshot, but are usually far apart).
