He’s unprincipled, dishonorable, shameless and corrupted like all the rest - rare exceptions proving the rule. Supporters have just cause to be furious. Betrayal never goes down well. Et tu, Bernie? You betcha! It was baked in the cake all along. Soul-selling is endemic in Washington, few free from its affliction, Sanders irreparably defiled, toxic, spilled milk, damaged goods - immoral, unethical and cowardly, a national disgrace. A Trump campaign statement said “(t)oday (July 12) Bernie Sanders will be endorsing one of the most pro-war, pro-Wall Street and pro-offshoring candidates in the history of the Democratic (sic) Party.” “The candidate who ran against special interests is endorsing the candidate who embodies special interests.” Trump blasted him justifiably, tweeting: “Bernie Sanders, who has lost most of his leverage, has totally sold out to Crooked Hillary Clinton… fans angry!” “Bernie Sanders has abandoned his supporters by endorsing pro-war, pro-TPP, pro-Wall Street Crooked Hillary Clinton.” “To all the Bernie voters who want to stop bad trade deals & global special interests, we welcome you with open arms.” Tweeting “Bernie Sanders endorsing Crooked Hillary is like Occupy Wall Street endorsing Goldman Sachs” nailed it best. Betrayed Sanders supporters feel the sting of BernOut, not Bern. There was no there there all along. His entire campaign was based on lies, his phony political revolution stillborn, his duplicity exposed for everyone to see. He “abandoned his supporters,” said Trump.
