France's highest appeals court ruled today that IMF chief Christine Lagarde must stand trial for her role in a 400 million euros ($440 million) payout to a French businessman. The court rejected her appeal against a judge's order in December for her to stand trial at the Cour de Justice de la Repulique, a special court that tries ministers for crimes in office. Who is this "we", white man? The Moganbo Guru considers Christine Lagarde "a delusional Keynesian low-life socialist French honcho of the infamous International Monetary Fund", who said that it was better to just pay the interest on debt, rather than paying it off.
