Dubious History Made Tuesday Night by Stephen Lendman
Tuesday night in America was unprecedented. For the first time, a known mentally unstable, neocon war criminal/racketeer was nominated by a duopoly power wing for president.
In discussions with close family, friends and others, excluding colleagues as committed as myself for responsible change, Im deeply disturbed by scandalous public ignorance about the deplorable state of America.
Its undemocratic political process is misunderstood - a money-controlled one-party state with two right wings, a political process corrupted enough to make some despots blush, governing without regard to rule of law principles and democratic values, with utter disdain for human life and welfare on an unprecedented scale.
The few exceptions I know include two wonderful doctor/friends, my dynamic duo, helping me overcome illness to continue my writing and media work. I salute them for giving me the life-force to go on.
My work, begun in retirement from small family business, now in my 9th decade, connected me to legions of friends and colleagues worldwide, new ones added regularly, contacts from readers and others thanking me for truth-telling at a time its entirely absent in the mainstream.
Democrats rigged things for Clinton. Its inconceivable to imagine she wasnt involved, likely orchestrating the whole ugly process.
Yet intelligent people knowing better support her - an unindicted war criminal multiple times over, a racketeer with husband Bill, using their foundation as a money-laundering self-enrichment scheme, multi-millions stashed in tax havens.
A glass ceiling wasnt shattered Tuesday night as misreported. How can stealing a nomination be regarded as precedent-setting?
How can a wing of US duopoly power nominating a legally, ethically and morally comprised candidate for the nations highest office be a cause for celebration?
How can empowering a ruthless neocon lunatic, if elected in November, raise hopes for positive change?
Trumpism v. Clintonism reflects the shame of the nation, voters with no legitimate choice, one or the other to become Americas 45th president.
World populations shudder at the prospect. Americans have themselves to blame. Failure to challenge ruthless duopoly power resolutely risks dooming us all.
