That was my initial take on Bernie, too - that he knew he couldn't win the nomination but he entered the campaign so he could make bank on the donations from socialist dupes.

But it's surprising that he bailed on the DNC Convention early, just before HildaBeast's coronation. Instead of keeping up the Unity ruse a few days longer, Bernie's public exit from the DNC takes the air out of The Beast's tires, no?

Maybe there's multiple scams in play? Bernie scams the progressives, then finds out that he was an object of ridicule all these months at the DNC, so he returns the back stabbing favor by ruining the Witch's coronation day and leaves the DNC in a lurch who scramble to fill all the empty seats.

The worm turns ( and gets to keep the $200 Million unspent campaign funds). Win/win for Bernie.
