War, War, War See other War, War, War Articles Title: US-Supported Terrorist Groups Balk at Resuming Syria Peace Talks US-Supported Terrorists Balk at Resuming Syria Peace Talks by Stephen Lendman The so-called US/Saudi cobbled together High Negotiations Committee (HNC) comprised of anti- Assad terrorists groups refuse to resume peace talks unless their unacceptable demands are met. Syrian and Russian forces gained the advantage on the battlefield against their fighters, keeping up pressure, continuing to defeat them decisively. Hundreds in their ranks are laying down arms and surrendering in Aleppo and other areas. Hundreds more were killed, their weapons, munitions and equipment destroyed or captured. HNC terrorists won’t talk peace while their fighters are being defeated militarily. Talks were dead from their onset. Washington and its terrorist foot soldiers don’t negotiate. They demand. On the back foot, they’re unable to insist on anything unreasonable. Syria is Obama’s war - launched to oust Assad, destroy Syrian sovereignty, partition the country, install US-controlled puppet governance, and advance America’s regional hegemony partnered with Israel. After nearly five-and-a-half years of war, their only accomplishments are half a million or more Syrians killed, many more injured, half the population internally or externally displaced, and appalling human misery affecting many millions - along with the severest refugee crisis since WW II from all US-led wars. Conflict in Syria drags on interminably, virtually certain to escalate if Hillary succeeds Obama. Russia has a decision to make - ramp up for more decisive combat for let things drag on like now for an indeterminate period. Diplomacy hasn’t worked so far and won’t because Washington rejects it.
