Trump Is Right: Media Scoundrels His Biggest Problem by Stephen Lendman
The race for the White House this year is more about anointing Hillary and stopping Trump, notably by foul means. It has the deplorable odor of likely election rigging to assure it.
Scoundrel media propaganda assaults him relentlessly, manipulating public sentiment against him - at the same time, largely ignoring Hillarys deplorable record, her high crimes, showing she belongs in prison, not high office.
Wednesday on the stump, Trump addressed supporters in Daytona Beach, FL, downplaying media- proliferated notions of party disunity as a way to discredit him. Some high-profile Republicans deserted him for political and self-serving reasons, no others.
The biggest problem we have is a dishonest press, he said. Thats the single biggest problem we have in terms of victory.
Hes right. Media anti-Trumpism exceeds anything I recall against a Republican or Democrat party presidential nominee - scathing, one-sided stuff, objectivity discarded altogether in contrast to undeserving praise for the other side.
Its a setup for Hillary, sure to continue through election day. High-profile billionaires support her: notably international con man George Soros, former anti-populist NY mayor Michael Bloomberg, CIA-connected Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, even investor Warren Buffett shamelessly campaigning with her.
Asked if hes being baited into battles, Trump said I think thats probably right. Were going to focus more on Hillary Clinton.
Campaign manager Paul Manafort said hes in control of his campaign. And Im in control of doing the things that he wants me to do in the campaign.
He attracts large crowds of supporters wherever he goes. Interviewed by the Washington Post on Tuesday, he looked forward to debating Clinton, saying its going to be the highest-rated debate in the history of television, and hes likely right.
He repeated his accusation about possible election-rigging to defeat him. (T)heres a lot of dirty pool played at the election, he said - meaning (its) rigged.
(I)ts myself
against the media, he stressed. The media ha(ve) a tremendous bias
against me. Everybodys talking about it.
(L)ook at the New York Times. (L)ook at the Washington Post. (L)ook at CNN
Its called the Clinton News Network. Every story is Trump all day long no matter what it is
I dont do interviews with CNN anymore because its
very biased against me.
The issue in November is less about Trump v. Clinton, more about a deplorable one-party state with too right wings, about a political system too debauched to fix, about monied interests controlling things, voters having no say, about fantasy democracy, not the real thing.
Trump and Clinton are unacceptable choices. Of the two, her rage for endless wars on humanity makes her too dangerous to trust.
Trump is a businessman more likely concerned about making money than mischief. Clinton is too legally, morally and ethically ruthless to be entrusted with the nations highest office, or any other one.
World peace is up for grabs if she succeeds Obama - a threat too unacceptable to risk.
