Oh -- I'm glad you mentioned this. Couple years ago a friend was passionate about getting me into Mona Vie açaí berry juice -- using and dealing it MLM. Went to a talk at which her fellow rednecks reported being so helped by it including getting to give up their previous careers and selling the stuff full time. Today I ask her what became of it, and she said it made people sick -- gave them kidney stones etc. At least one had to go to the hospital. I honestly don't know what to believe, but since this fad came on us so hastily, prolly the endgame. Meanwhile, pomegranate is fantastic and no doubt cherry too. Some brand of the former drives away a friend's bad prostate problems like magic. Likely growers requested a quota system to maintain selling price above cost of production.Guess would be fewer growers (less employment) without a quota. If corporations fixed prices would be in big trouble. Funny system. Maybe growers could get around quota limits by making cherry pies, freezing them for sale off season.
