Not many people have seen this killer video from the ammo channel about military surplus 30-06 AP ammo. It should have several million views, it’s a really entertaining and informative 15 minute spot that gives you the low down on military surplus armor piercing ammo.
Everything in this video, from the original WWII training video to the basic primer on the science behind AP ammunition is just plain awesome. The best part is that if you keep your eyes open you can still find some of this stuff at your local gun show.

If zombies ever attack you can even pull the AP bullets from surplus 30-06 rounds and use them in your .308, keep in mind that it might not be legal or safe to do so in the pre-zombie era.
