Big Lie Claiming Russia Undermines International Order by Stephen Lendman
Relentless Russia bashing, supported by irresponsible media scoundrels, sets the stage for inevitable confrontation - the unthinkable possibility of nuclear war if Hillary succeeds Obama.
Since becoming US Secretary of War, succeeding Chuck Hagel in February 2015, Ashton Carter waged a relentless war of words on Russia, despite it threatening no one.
Under Putin, it’s the world’s leading peace and stability champion. Its sovereign independence Washington wants eliminated makes if a prime US target.
So far misinformation and Big Lies are America’s main weapons, along with ineffective sanctions and media scoundrels serving as US press agents.
Spurious allegations with no corroborating evidence continue accusing Moscow of trying to manipulation November elections. From London, Carter continued his anti-Russia tirade, saying US officials won’t ignore Russian “efforts to interfere with our democratic process” - a malicious Big Lie and he knows it, compounded by another one.
“We don’t seek an enemy in Russia,” Carter claimed. Longstanding plans at least from its 1917 revolution called for regime change - an entire century of anti-Russian hate-mongering with timeout to defeat Nazi Germany during WW II, Washington Moscow’s junior partner in effort, unjustly claiming most credit.
“(M)ake no mistake,” said Carter. “We will defend our allies, the principled international order, and the positive future it affords all of us.”
“We will counter attempts to undermine our collective security. And we will not ignore attempts to interfere with our democratic processes.”
“Russia appears driven by misguided ambition and misplaced fear,” referring to what he called its “unprofessional behavior” in Ukraine, Syria, cyberspace and nuclear “saber rattling.”
Fact: America replaced democrats with Nazi-infested fascists in Ukraine - Russia getting blamed despite doing nothing confrontational.
Fact: Obama’s waging naked aggression on Syria using terrorist foot soldiers - Russia getting blamed for obstructing peace despite going all-out to achieve it.
Fact: Russia seeks mutual cooperation among all nations in a multi-polar world - yet Washington disgracefully and belligerently blames it for undermining the international order.
Carter, other US neocons and media scoundrels are systematically laying the groundwork for Hillary’s ascendancy to power - a militant Russia hater, a war-mongering extremist, a threat to world peace and humanity’s survival.
As president, she’ll probably escalate wars against more adversaries than any of her predecessors. She’ll likely risk WW III by targeting Russia, China and Iran belligerently. If nuclear weapons are used, we’re all doomed.
