War, War, War See other War, War, War Articles Title: NYT Reinvents America's War on Syria NYT Reinvents Americas War on Syria by Stephen Lendman Legitimate editors wouldnt touch daily rubbish featured on Times pages - supporting US imperial lawlessness, blaming victims for its high crimes, irresponsibly bashing Russia, the only world power going all-out for conflict resolution in Ukraine and Syria, systematically undermined by Washington. The Times lied, claiming Putin sees
a prime window of opportunity
to strengthen Assad (during Obamas) waning days in office. Fact: He responsibly respects Syrian sovereignty, the rights of its people and fundamental rule of law principles Washington breaches unaccountably. He opposes Americas ruthless rage for dominance, its endless wars of aggression, its deplorable contempt for human life and welfare, aided by a sustained onslaught of misinformation, deception and Big Lies suppressing Nuremberg-level high crimes - The Times and other media scoundrels complicit by supporting what demands denunciation. Their reports make painful reading, deplorable material polar opposite facts on the ground, consistently supporting imperial viciousness, opposing the rights of sovereign independent states, their people able to live free from US dominance. The Times: Obamas responded to Syrias civil war (sic). Fact: Syria was invaded. Theres nothing civil about naked US aggression raping a sovereign independent nation. The Times: Russia is helping Assad hold on to power, expand the territory he controls
and constrain options for Obamas successor. Fact: Syria belongs to Syrians, not imperial America and its rogue partners. Liberating the country from US-supported terrorists requires defeating them decisively. The Times: (T)he Syrian government declared an end to a short-lived cease-fire on September 19
Fact: Syrian and Russian forces scrupulously observed Geneva ceasefire terms over the agreed on 7-day regime of silence period. US-supported terrorists and Pentagon warplanes egregiously breached them - shamelessly blaming Moscow and Damascus for their high crimes. The Times: Since Russia intervened militarily a year ago, Assads territorial gains have been minimal
Fact: Hundreds of square miles of terrorist-held areas were liberated, the strategically important battle for Aleppo progressing toward defeating US-supported terrorists holding thousands of Syrians hostage as human shields. The Times: The Obama administration has used airpower to safeguard areas of northern Syria where America advisors (sic) are operating
Fact: Washington operates in Syria illegally, bombing its infrastructure on the phony pretext of combating ISIS it supports - along with all other terrorist fighters infesting the nation, imported from scores of countries. So-called American advisors are CIA operatives and highly skilled in the art of killing special forces - helping terrorists massacre civilians and commit other appalling atrocities. The Times: Damascus with Moscows help winning the battle for Aleppo
could complicate any plans for further American military action in Syria. Fact: Eliminating US-supported terrorists in Aleppo is key in the struggle to liberate Syria from the scourge of US imperial viciousness. What Times and other media scoundrels suppress is most important to report. Their support for US high crimes makes them accessories to ongoing carnage - civilians suffering most.
