War, War, War See other War, War, War Articles Title: Trump Opposes Attacking Syria Trump Opposes Attacking Syria by Stephen Lendman Obama, Hillary and most others in Washington want Syria ravaged and destroyed - part of Americas imperial project to eliminate all independent governments. Last spring, Trump said I would have stayed out of Syria, and I wouldnt have fought so much
against Assad
(We have) bigger problems than Assad
I would go after ISIS
to knock the hell out of the group. Hillary insists Assad must go, why she orchestrated war on Syria as secretary of state, saying whats ongoing is her top geopolitical priority - along with anti-Russia provocations, she failed to explain. Her support for extrajudicially imposed no-fly zone over Syria assures escalated war, abandoning diplomacy with Russia altogether. Saying its to combat ISIS is cover for regime change plans. Earlier comments by her advisor/former Pentagon official Jeremy Bash signaled her intentions - calling Assads government a murderous regime
violat(ing) human rights (and) international law
us(ing) chemical weapons (on) his own people
killing hundreds of thousands, including tens of thousands of children. Fact: All his accusations apply to Washington, its rogue allies and terrorist foot soldiers - not Assad, his officials or military. Fact: Big Lies from Bash and others in Washington are heading things for greater conflict - likely employing US combat troops despite Hillary rhetorically ruling them out. Trump running mate Mike Pence supports direct US military strikes on Syria. In Sundays second presidential debate (sic), Trump said Pence and I havent spoken, and I disagree. I believe we have to get ISIS. We have to worry about ISIS before we can get too much more involved. Admitting he doesnt like Assad, he added hes killing ISIS. Russia is killing ISIS and Iran if killing ISIS, something he supports. Hillary lied claiming Russia hasnt paid any attention to ISIS, stressing support for no-fly zone implementation, assuring escalated conflict. Too bad Trump wont have a chance to back his rhetoric on Syria, and better relations with Moscow, as president. Establishment candidate Hillary was pre-selected to succeed Obama. Americas farcical political process works this way. Expect a nightmarish agenda under her leadership. Stephen Lendman lives in Chicago. He can be reached at lendmanstephen@sbcglobal.net.
