Dead Constitution See other Dead Constitution Articles Title: Media Scoundrels One-Sidedly for Hillary Media Scoundrels One-Sidedly for Hillary by Stephen Lendman Comedian Ernie Kovacs earlier explained why television is called a medium - because it’s neither rare or well done, he said, long before deplorable cable TV news. Today his comment applies to all mainstream print and electronic media, especially their outrageous managed news misinformation, substituting for responsibly informing readers and viewers on world and national issues - highlighted when America goes to war and in this year’s race for the White House. Never before in US history was media coverage so outrageously biased for one duopoly aspirant over the other - independents almost entirely ignored. None of America’s top 100 newspapers endorsed Trump. Most one-sidedly back Hillary, some for the first time supporting a Democrat candidate - a fourth estate herd mentality on steroids, more evidence of press agent journalism substituting for the real thing. According to The Intercept, “(i)nternal strategy documents and emails among Clinton staffers shed light on (cozy) relationships between the campaign and various members of the US media…” They show how Clinton campaign strategists ensure favorable coverage they want reported - including by circulating material they want used, planting stories, working with journalists they call “friendly” at major print and electronic media outlets. “(P)undits regularly featured on (CNN and other) cable news programs were paid by the Clinton campaign without any disclosure” of their affiliation. Hillary surrogates are involved, whether willingly or pressured by superiors. Well-known figures include Wolf Blitzer, EJ Dionne, Maureen Dowd, Mara Liasson, Rachel Maddow, Andrea Mitchell, Charlie Rose, and Chris Mathews, among many others. Ahead of Hillary’s presidential big announcement, an April 2015 cocktail party was held for “leading news figures and top-level Clinton staff at…Clinton strategist Joel Benenson’s” Manhattan home - secretly off-the-record to enlist and assure their support. Things were rigged for Hillary to succeed Obama before campaigning began last year. After polls close on November 8, it’ll be official. Trump never had a chance. It’s all over but the one-sided postmortems. A lunatic fringe, emotionally unstable neocon war goddess will succeed Obama in January. Humanity cringes at the prospect.
