NYT Promotes Phony Claims About Russia Supporting Trump

by Stephen Lendman

Not a shred of evidence suggests Russia in any way tries to influence electoral politics in America or anywhere else.

Yet phony accusations persist, The New York Times one of the lead culprits - part of its unrelenting Russia bashing, proliferating misinformation and Big Lies, suppressing hard truths.

Its latest attack piece cites Hillary’s campaign chairman John Podesta, irresponsibly blaming Russia for thousands of emails released by WikiLeaks.

“I’ve been involved in politics for nearly five decades,” he said. “This definitely (sic) is the first campaign…in which I’ve had to tangle with Russian intelligence agencies…doing everything that they can on behalf of our opponent.”

Fact: Where’s the credible proof corroborating Podesta’s accusations? None exists or he would have revealed it.

Fact: Responsible editors wouldn’t touch this story, clear propaganda for dual purposes - aiding Hillary’s campaign while vilifying Russia.

Fact: The NYT repeatedly publishes rubbish instead of hard truths it wants suppressed.

The Times: “The Obama administration, like Mr. Podesta, believes the Russian government has been trying to help Mr. Trump with its hacking, including the theft of emails of the Democratic National Committee this year.”

“Mr. Podesta said Mr. Trump had “ ‘essentially adopted lock, stock and barrel” a foreign policy that would favor the interests of President Vladimir V. Putin.’ “

Fact: Shameless accusations without proof supporting them are disgraceful lies. Podesta’s comments reflects Hillary’s position.

Former secret service agent Gary Byrne worked in the Clinton White House. He knows firsthand how Bill and Hillary operate - his book Crisis of Character recounting his experiences.

“The Hillary Clinton I know is a complete pathological liar,” he explained. “She never displays any kind of leadership…(S)he gets so angry (privately) that people…working for her (are) terrified…”

Her campaign calls WikiLeaks a “Russian propaganda arm,” part of its strategy to distract and divert attention from her deplorable public record - a tactic both Clintons used earlier and now.

Her campaign spokesman Brian Fallon shamelessly accused Trump of coordinating with Russia and WikiLeaks. Trump explained he has no business operations there. Saying it “would be great (to) get along” with Moscow is one of many reasons for attacking him.

Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov categorically denied his government’s involvement in hacking DNC emails, or in any way trying to influence US electoral results.

On October 7, a joint Department of Homeland Security/Director of National Intelligence (DHS/DNI) statement fraudulently accused Russia of hacking DNC emails “intended to interfere with the US elections process” - failing to provide proof because there’s none.

The Times and other media scoundrels consistently publish this type rubbish, pretending its factual instead of exposing vicious Russia-bashing lies.

Allied with Hillary’s campaign, they, not Moscow, aim to influence the election’s outcome. The power of endlessly repeated, widely circulated, propaganda works.

In weeks, get used to hearing president-elect Hillary, followed by the Clinton crime family’s ascension to power in January for a third term. Humanity may not survive it.
