An intruder was shot at the home of supermodel Miranda Kerr after an altercation with a private security guard on Friday morning.
The confrontation ended with gunfire. The intruder was shot multiple times, and the security guard who fired was stabbed in the eye. It is not clear at the moment whether Kerr was at home at the time of the incident.
One neighbor heard five gunshots and yelling, according to ABC 7.
The intruder was transported via airlift to a trauma center with a gunshot to the head. The security guard was escorted by paramedics to a nearby helipad where he boarded a helicopter as well. Doctors expect both men to survive.
Construction worker Craig Moore was nearby when the incident occurred and said he believed the intruder was homeless. "He was wearing a backpack, and my guys heard him down on the Coast Highway screaming and yelling," Moore told ABC 7. "I don't know how he ended up here but he did."

I can hardly believe this security guard allow that guy to get so close to him.
