Title: Time For A Coup? Faith In The Military Soars As Trust In Media, Politicians Plunges

When Sheriff David Clarke declared it's "pitchforks and torches time," he may have been on to something.

With a record low 19% of Americans trusting the government and belief in the media collapsing, it appears "we, the people" have faith in only one group... the military.

So with no trust in government or the media, who do the American people still have faith in?

One-third of the public (33%) has a great deal of confidence in the military and an additional 46% say they have a fair amount of confidence. The high ranking of the military is consistent with a 2013 Pew Research Center survey, which found 78% of the public said the military contributes “a lot” to society.

How And Why An American Military Coup Could Save The World

Hold it right there....

NOT many months ago, this 4um was as anti military as any left wing exercise.

People here used the word scum to describe ANYONE that for any reason donned a uniform.

Mass awakening????? No, I dont think so.

Military hatred has been replaced by war hysteria.

No one here hates the military; we all hate the fedgov's criminal use of US military.

I hate what the animals in the white house have created in the military - namely a publicly-paid gay/lesbian/transgender freak show not capable of doing anything but screwing each other in the butt.

The military has become a stage prop for gay porn. Olive drab stiletto heels, forest green Maybelline lipstick, tampon dispensers in the men's barracks.....

Not to mention sex-change operations on demand.

Trump has many, many, policy reversals to make. Nothing against fags or trannies, but they just don't belong in the military. (Or in the white hut)

I believe the misuse of the military is what people here despise. Some of us donned the uniform out of fear of prosecution or ignorance.

I remember it differently, that being of no value.

Normally I would fall into the ignorance segment, however, being in the lowest class of society, I knew full well there was no way out for my kind. Those with "connections" stayed home.

The galling part was when the FBI came looking for me as a dastardly "draft dodger", the self righteous stay at homers were doing their patriotic duty.

Mass funeral services for friends are difficult.

Attitudes about military service changed much after Korea and especially when Vietnam drug on for so long.

There is an attitude expressed here long ago, that has never changed.

"""J.P.Morgan had escaped military service in the Civil War by paying $300 to a substitute. So did John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, Philip Armour, Jay Gould, and James Mellon. Mellon's father had written to him that "a man may be a patriot without risking his own life or sacrificing his health. ""There are plenty of lives less valuable.""

Those named did more than talk about a solution. Those named used the power they possessed to achieve their goal of avoiding military service while the masses generally forfeit their power and serve. The only power the masses possess is their numbers but they aren't capable of unifying to the extent necessary to squash the draft or any problematic dictate of government.

It's their own fault.
