Ahead of Wednesday nights last one-on-one hurrah, lead media scoundrel character assassins New York Times and Washington Post softened him up more for Hillary. The Times disgracefully headlined Social Security at Stake on Nov. 8, calling Hillary its savior, Trump its destroyer, despite pledging not to cut benefits. Nor will she increase them, her promises otherwise made to be broken - her consistent pattern throughout her public life, her pathological lying a testimony to her untrustworthiness. Social Security isnt going broke. Nor is Medicare. Funding will always be available as long as Washington fulfills its obligations to retirees and other eligible recipients. Theyve fallen way short because of rigging how inflation is calculated, begun during the first Clinton co-presidency years, keeping annual Social Security increases below where they should justifiably be to maintain purchasing power parity. Times editors claiming its safe under Hillary while jeopardized by Trump is part of its daily hostile drumbeat against him. WaPo editors again failed the test of fair and balanced reporting, claiming hes rigging the election, assuring no matter who wins, America loses. Hes justifiably concerned about things rigged for Hillary. She stole the Democrat nomination, a likely warmup for November. Election theft is longstanding in America from the republics early days. Now its accomplished with electronic ease, voter roll stripping and other dirty tricks. WaPo editors ignored Hillarys history of pathological lying. Trump has no public record. Saying his blanket indifference to truth is
an attack on democracy reflects unjustifiable malice, absent evidence proving its assertion. He invents alternate realities and encourages his supporters to inhabit them, said WaPo editors. Facts dont interfere with their views, inventing stuff to support them - at the same time, suppressing Hillarys high crimes of war, racketeering and perjury. Trump is right urging the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate her wrongdoing. WaPo editors say hes rejecting a pillar of our republic. They accused him of a falsehood-per-minute in the last face-off with Hillary. They and other media scoundrels consider any damning facts harming her campaign unjustifiable misinformation - no matter how true. WaPo editors: Given Mr. Trumps indifference to the truth, we are skeptical that (their) final meeting can be much of a debate
in any conventional sense. Fact: These one-on-one encounters arent meant to be. Theyre campaigning by other means campaigning - featuring bluster without substance, failing to explain where each candidate stands on the vital domestic and geopolitical issues of the day. WaPo: As with his threat to imprison his opponent if he defeats her, Mr. Trumps total dismissal of reality and wanton embrace of conspiracy theories should be disqualifying. Fact: Trump wants Hillarys criminality investigated. So should everyone. Its a judicial responsibility to decide on sentencing if indicted, prosecuted and convicted in a court of law.
