Dead Constitution See other Dead Constitution Articles Title: Trump v. Hillary: Sin City Spectacle Trump v. Hillary: Sin City Spectacle by Stephen Lendman According to Pew Research, the economy tops the list of most important issues for US voters - followed by terrorism, foreign policy (war and peace), healthcare, gun policy, immigration, Social Security, education, Supreme Court appointments, treatment of racial and ethnic minorities, trade, the environment, abortion, as well as treatment of gay, lesbian and transgender people. Neither presidential aspirant presented a clear agenda to deal with these and other important issues. Both focused more on personal attacks than problem-solving. Because of justifiable electoral-rigging concerns, Trump suggested possibly rejecting Novembers outcome, saying I will tell you at the time. I will keep you in suspense. Hillary claimed hes denigrating, he is talking down our democracy
How can he when what none exists? Power brokers run America, a one-party state with two right wings - Hillary their chosen 45th president. Trump is justified in crying foul. Things appear rigged against him - including media scoundrels overwhelming vilifying him. With no public record, its unclear how hed govern if elected president. Hillary leaves no doubt where she stands. Her deplorable agenda since the neoliberal 90s should terrify everyone - pro-war, pro-Wall Street, anti-populist, anti-labor, anti-democracy, anti-rule of law principles, assuring a nation unfit and unsafe to live in under her stewardship. Most concerning is her anti-Russia, anti-China, anti-Iran rage, wanting regime change forcefully imposed. The threat of her waging nuclear war is greater than any previous time since the atom was split. Humanitys survival is up for grabs with her as commander-in-chief of Americas military. Trump would rather exploit planet earth for profit than destroy it. Three Trump/Hillary face-offs did little to influence Novembers outcome. If its rigged as Trump justifiably fears, its all over but the postmortems. Media scoundrels reacted to Wednesday nights spectacle as expected - praising Hillary, bashing Trump. New York Times and Washington Post editors highlighted the same theme - calling Trump anti- democratic for suggesting he might reject Novembers outcome. The entire US electorate should repudiate a system giving voters no say on how theyre governed. The Times: Wednesdays presidential debate (sic) was another exercise in narcissism, bombast and mendacity by Mr. Trump. One could only hope that this might be the last grand display of his gross unfitness to be president. Fact: Times editors ignored a near generation of Hillarys criminality - her imperial lawlessness, racketeering, pathological lying and other offenses, proving her unfitness for any public office, mostly the immense danger shell represent as US president. WaPo: Issues fade to the status of trivia in the face of (Hillarys) opponent who will not accept the basic rules of American democracy. Fact: How can there be rules to a system that doesnt exist. America was never democratic from inception - for sure not governance of, by and for everyone equitably today no matter who succeeds Obama, fills congressional seats or sits on the Supreme Court.
