I'm half expecting it to happen AFTER Trump wins the election, between then and his inauguration. This is the reason for the seemingly inexplicable two-week halt in Russian airstrikes. Despite the life and death struggle to put an end to the Aleppo siege, Putin has been hands off from the air, and I'd be inclined to suspect that it may have something to do with minimizing the opportunity of an October surprise jury-rigged out of Washington to create an incident. Said incident would give the Russians a black eye, give the hawks in DC (left and right) an opportunity to punch back, and make the populist peaceniks (read Trump) look bad. Exactly right. Putin I'm sure is keenly aware of the fact that the people behind Clinton, such as Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland's husband, Robert Kagan, who co-founded the Project for a New American Century which called for a "new Pearl Harbor" PRIOR to the attacks of 9/11/2001, are VERY capable of launching false flag operations. That's not to mention the fact that Nuland herself orchestrated the Ukraine coup and installed a government friendly to the west, led largely by fascists, oligarchs, and outright Nazis, who are now shelling civilians in Eastern Ukraine. Hell, the US is still screeching in the UN how Russia is "killing civilians in Aleppo" even as Russia and Syria have grounded their aircraft and have not bombed Aleppo for the past two weeks. If Russia were to resume attacks against terrorists in Aleppo, it'd be a safe bet that Clinton's pals would execute SOME false flag attack which would justify some sort of response, most likely spiraling out of control in a very short period of time. But as ghostdogtxn pointed out, it can STILL happen regardless of what Russia does or doesn't do. I expect the US to violate Syrian airspace any day to make this happen.

I expect that we will shortly be hearing about an American fighter being shot down by the Russians, demonstrating that the Russians are really not good guys and proving how wrong Trumps approach of talking to them instead of fighting them is. I expect the US to violate Syrian airspace any day to make this happen.
