David Ray Griffin just said that if things get much worse for the Bush admin - such as impeachment starts to become a reality, that that might trigger another "terror" attack from this administration. What do you all think would happen if we had another 9/11?

The usual... Gulags, more police, dumbasses buying what the Feds tell them.
Feneration is slow death of community and culture.
More power grabs by the Bush cabal. More loss of freedom. Deeper descent into slavery. Constitution becoming even more "goddam." Nothing else'll change though.... ;)

Good question.. from the people more fear and hysteria.. and they'll then gladly give up even more rights..trading it for a sense of security..
I think that at a minimum they would go for another Patriot Act. But I wonder what is left of the Constitution that they have not already voided. They could also use it to justify another war. And they could even begin rounding up people for those Army concentration camps that was the subject of a post earlier today.
Futures on plastic sheeting and duct tape would skyrocket. Good time to buy now.
I'd say martial law for an extended period and the bringing in of the draft for Iran and Syria.
I have the feeling of pure dread. I don`t know if we will have the 2008 elections. Just look at the news. Every week, it is something else thats fucked up. Everything is being put in place for the rioting that will begin here. It will either be a government sponsered attack, or the economy is going to really implode. Yep - the Katrina mess that Oprah was showing yesterday was beyond belief: absolutely nothing was going on to help the situation.
That's the thought that keeps crossing my mind. It's just hard for me to believe that these guys would go to all the trouble of accumulating this power, and then just willingly hand it over to Hillary! or actually anybody else.
