Hodges goes a bit too far. There is a real threat of a Civil War (or rather a Race War.) The Race War starts only after the Bankers pull the plug on the dollar.
Where I live the National Guard Armory was always open and you could walk right in. Now it is locked up and you need permission to enter. My polling place is located there and there were a couple of troops outside trying to gain access. They had to tap on the office window to get someone to come open the door. Now what is so secretive that is happening at the Armory?

I live in small town. There are few blacks here and few Mexicans. There is only one gun shop and he sells boots there also. If they store weapons at Armory, you couldn't tell it by me.
When I ride about 35 miles south to see doctor every week, sometimes we see Army convoy along the way. They have some big trucks they drive, but no trailers. One time when they stopped at truck stop here I got to talk with a few of them. Not a big deal since they were just transporting the vehicles. ;)

They have to store the weapons the National Guard uses for military exercises. Remember the Paris Tn revolt? After WW II, veterans broke into the Armory and got weapons to arrest the sheriff and the mayor.
The threat to a small town is that a big city like Memphis or St Louis would send out half a million people in cars in all directions demanding food. A small town without automatic weapons or at least a disciplined force would be overwhelmed.
The larger cities near here are Springfield and Kansas City. But I have no doubt that once the supermarkets in this areas are plundered the letters would fan out looking for food and other supplies.
As long as Obummer does not pull the plug in an attempt to become a dictator for life, I ain't skeered. ;)

Kansas City is closer to me but still 100 miles off. And there are a lot of smaller towns nearby. Once the supermarkets are looted and food becomes scarce, the mobs will fan out looking for plunder. Small groups of defenders can keep them at bay.
One time at local Wal Mart I was talking with an old boy. I told him, "Obama wants the U.N. to control our guns." He said "We'll never give up our guns. That's the way we are."

I spent a couple of weeks in KC once. Are you in Missouri? The worst place to be in a meltdown is on the highway less than 100 miles from a big city filled with blacks.
