Given its global reach and influence, The New York Times is especially reprehensible, the self- styled newspaper of record mocks legitimate journalism. Its press agent Hillary reporting and vicious anti-Trumpism throughout the political season and aftermath made it a laughing stock - continuing on Trumps inaugural day, traditionally a window without criticism for Americas new president. Once in office, hes fair game, assessing his policies when known. Published on his inaugural day, Times editors asked Can President Trump Be Presidential? Hes vindictive (and) disruptive, they claimed. His post-campaign

the nation needs. They bashed his tweets, used to express views free from media misquotes and distortions, a refreshing way for a presidential aspirant, elected chief executive and White House incumbent to communicate. Times editors: Is (Trump) up to the job of uniting and leading the nation - of (being) presidential? Well know soon enough how well or poorly hell lead. Uniting the nation is impossible as long as media scoundrels like The Times keep bashing him relentlessly - whatever he does or doesnt do. When criticized, especially unjustifiably, hes entitled to fire back. So is everyone. The Times invented reasons to attack him - while shamefully serving as Hillarys press agent throughout months of campaigning and its aftermath. Agree or disagree with him, his comments are straightforward, saying what he means, a rare attribute in Washington. Obamas serial lying is polar opposite, his demagogic doubletalk disgusting. Times editors praised what demands denunciation. Separately on his day of days, The Times focused on possible links between Russian officials and associates of Trump. Russia threatens no one. Sanctions imposed are illegal, marginalization and isolating attempts futile. Its bashed for its sovereign independence and opposition to US imperial madness. Treating its government adversarially is malicious and dangerous. Saying it helped Trump defeat Hillary is utter rubbish. Americas intelligence community claiming otherwise is part of a plot to delegitimize Trump, undermine him in office, and block his ability to normalize bilateral relations. Expect attacks on him to continue once in office. If he betrays the public trust like the Clintons, Bush/Cheney and Obama, hes fair game for criticism. The relentless bashing he endured throughout months of campaigning and post-election was way over-the-top - an unprecedented assault on one candidate while overlooking the high crimes of his opponent.
