One thing Christine Pelosi mentioned is that we need to upgrade the electric grid. It is a fact that our electric grid is based on 1880s technology. ;)

It has been scientifically proven that for the defeat of the United States, all it would take is two or three strategic EMP attacks on the electric grid to prompt almost immediate defeat of the United States. This country is laying on its back like a French virgin in Paris on the night Hitler's army rolled into town and all anybody could do was lay on their backs and take the raping.

I have seen reports that congress has known this for at least twenty years and refuses to bring it to the American people to harden the grid against EMP attacks. The same reports estimate that 95% of Americans would perish in less than a year by the simple act of refusing this gutless society of the one simple essential element of electricity.
