There are also many over there that are pissed about the ports deal. The government stooges over there have been working over time pushing the ports deal, but still 1/3 of all freepers are against it.

It wasn't enough for Bush and his corporatist cabal to hang the albatross of his immigration (non-)policy around the GOP's neck---now on the ports issue they've got to cut themselves off at the knees on the very issue---"homeland security in the face of Islamist terror"---that they hoped to make into a "bloody shirt" electoral strategy for the 21st Century.

But note that Hurlin has apparently succeeded in get "Lauretij2" banned. That's my experience with the mods: they pretend to be "even-handed" while in reality playing favorites. And Hurlin is a big-ass favorite of theirs.

I was told by long term Freepers when I used to post over there (in between zottings) that Howlin was a mod darlin'. I think the mods have their lists of who to support/assist and people like Howlin frequently lead the zot squads.
