An Alabama theater has canceled its plan to screen Disney’s Beauty and the Beast due to the inclusion of a gay character. The new owners of the Henagar Drive-In theater alerted its customers via Facebook that they have decided to not screen the film as previously planned after reports surfaced this week confirming the live-action remake’s version of LeFou (Josh Gad) is gay. “When companies continually force their views on us we need to take a stand,” read the post. “If we can not take our 11-year-old granddaughter and 8-year- old grandson to see a movie we have no business watching it. If I can’t sit through a movie with God or Jesus sitting by me then we have no business showing it. I know there will be some that do not agree with this decision. That’s fine … We will continue to show family oriented films so you can feel free to come watch wholesome movies without worrying about sex, nudity, homosexuality and foul language.” In Beauty and the Beast (read EW’s review here), LeFou is the sidekick of vain villain Gaston (Luke Evans). He flirts with Gaston in several scenes and is later shown dancing with another male character during the film’s finale. “Bill Condon did an amazing job of giving us an opportunity to create a version of LeFou that isn’t like the original, that expands on what the original did, but that makes him more human and that makes him a wonderfully complex character to some extent,” Gad said at the film’s premiere. Of the finale, Gad called the dance scene “subtle but incredibly effective.”

Why is this news? They have a right to show it or not show it,for any reason at all or no reason at all. It's called "individual freedoms",and I hope it makes a comeback.
I saw yesterday a study that less than 4% of Millennial have a Biblical world view - meaning almost the entire Millennial generations completely accepts homosexuality, lesbianism, and transgenderism as being NORMAL, NATURAL sexual behaviors. IOW, 96% of this generations COMPLETELY ACCEPTS anything Disney or Hollywood feeds them. completely U.S. Constitution - Article IV, Section 4: NO BORDERS + NO LAWS = NO COUNTRY

I care nothing about that book of lies. What I care about is freedom. I don't want a government that thinks it has the right to either demand these people show that movie,for example,than to have a government that demands those people DON'T show the movie. Too often,as in EVERY time,organized religion wearing whatever trade name it happens to wear at that time,works towards BEING the government,and it MUST be carefully watched to prevent this from happening. The Founding Fathers knew this because they grew up under systems where the dominate church was a shadow government made sure that doesn't happen here by demanding we have freedom of,and from,religion.
The kind that thinks they have no more rights than you or I. As well as the kind that thinks they have the EXACT same rights as you and I. Nothing more,nothing less.
I think pre-schoolers are a little young to be used as political pawns, but apparently Disney does not. I'm wondering when the lawsuits start, similar to the bakers who refused to make a cake for the gay couple.

I think children should be left out of political games,period. They are children,not tools. but apparently Disney does not. Disney cares nothing about children. Children have no money and buy no tickets. The audience Disney is playing to is mostly the rich white homo market,most of whom seem to make their money in the "arts". You might say this is just them patting themselves on the back and telling themselves in their best Stuart Smiley voices,"You are a wonderful,smart,sexy human being,and everyone loves you and lusts after you." while staring at a mirror. I'm wondering when the lawsuits start, similar to the bakers who refused to make a cake for the gay couple. Disney doesn't care about lawsuits. They have lawyers on retainer,and can write the expenses off their taxes. If anything they see this as free advertising that will guarantee that every seat in every theater in a major city it is shown in is sold. This little "trick" will make them additional millions in ticket sales.
