Dead Constitution See other Dead Constitution Articles Title: Trump and Palestinian Puppet President Speak by Phone Trump and Palestinian Puppet President Speak by Phone by Stephen Lendman Israeli-anointed Palestinian puppet Mahmoud Abbas lacks legitimacy. His so-called 2005 election was rigged to install him in office. His term expired in January 2009. Hes still there, remaining as long as Israel and Washington want him. Hes more stooge than statesman, a Palestinian Quisling. Hes a longtime Israeli collaborator, serving as its enforcer, a self-serving Judas goat, hugely corrupt, betraying his people for special benefits hes afforded - remaining in office as long as he serves his masters in Tel Aviv and Washington. On Friday, he and Trump spoke by phone for the first time. A White House invitation was extended. Like Trump, he thrives on photo-ops. A White House statement said (t)he president emphasized his personal belief that peace is possible and that the time has come to make a deal. The president noted that such a deal would not only give Israelis and Palestinians the peace and security they deserve, but that it would reverberate positively throughout the region and the world. Fact: So-called peace talks are dead-on-arrival each time initiated - the greatest hoax in modern times along with phony war on terrorism. Fact: Israel and Washington deplore peace and stability. Both countries thrive on conflict. Chances for Palestinians achieving equity and justice are virtually nil as long as the agendas of both countries remain unchanged. Abbas spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said Trump stressed his commitment to a peace process that would lead to a real peace between Palestinians and Israelis. Fact: Trumps key advisors on Israel are zionist zealots - David Friedman, his announced ambassador awaiting Senate confirmation, Jason Greenblat, his chief international negotiator, and Jared Kushner, his son-in-law. Fact: Theyre all one-sidedly pro-Israel, chances for peace with them involved dead-in-the-water before initiated. During his joint news conference with Netanyahu last month, Trump said Im looking at two-state and one-state, and I like the one that both parties like. Rudeineh said Palestinians are ready to deal with President Trump and the Israeli government to resume the negotiations. If the Israelis are ready, President Abbas has committed himself to a peaceful deal with President Trump. (Hes) a very honest man, very courageous man, looking for a deal, a just deal. Fact: Far from it! During his first 50 days in office, he betrayed the public trust. His domestic and foreign policy reflect dirty business as usual. Fact: Israel rejects Palestinian self-determination. Hardliners in charge demand Palestinian subjugation, the only deal theyll accept, equity off-the-table. Fact: Trump insists on direct Israeli/Palestinian negotiations. Israel doesnt negotiate. It demands, offering virtually nothing in return for Palestinian subservience - why conflict drags on interminably, possible resolution more fantasy than real. Stephen Lendman lives in Chicago.
