The whole problem with the so called wailing wall is that it is the remains of a Roman fortress, not a synogogue. Since this particular area was the eastern extent of the Roman Empire and was subject to attacks from the east, the fortress was to protect Roman Centurions. ;) "When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one."
