I would say that Hitler had the last laugh, forcing the French to sign the Armistice in the same rail car the Germans had to sign the Treaty of Versailles at the end of WW I. ;)

Much easier...

Gen. Heinz Guderian tanks were running so far ahead of infantry that Hitler became nervous.

One unit, with no infantry came across nearly one thousand French troops hiding in a field. The gutless Frogs threw their rifles in the ditch and surrendered. The tank commander put them in a column of two, with hands in the air and told them to march eastward until they found Germans to surrender to.

They did.
