Senator Mike DeWine and His Traitorous Ilk

Friday March 03rd 2006, 8:05 pm

Once upon a time, Mike DeWine, Congress critter-whore from Ohio (nearly a million dollars in business PAC contributions), would have been called out as a traitor, and then tarred, feathered, and delivered to the edge of town on a rail in much the same way Bostonians tarred and feathered excise men and other British agents. Now we can't be bothered. As Congress passes the Patriot Act, I remember DeWine, who said the following about Bush's Constitution-crunching NSA snooping program last month:

"You know, there’s been some controversy about whether or not this program is legal or is not legal. I think we need to get beyond that. And the vast majority of American people believe these calls need to be listened to. But we don’t want to have any kind of debate about whether it’s constitutional or not constitutional. So I think we need to put that beyond us."

Of course, there is no debate—the program is a blatant violation of the Fourth Amendment. DeWine believes most Americans are in favor of this program, but even if they were (and it is true, most Americans are ignorant of the Bill of Rights) it would still be a violation of the Constitution and would not change the fact those responsible for implementing and supporting the NSA program are traitors.

I'd love nothing more than to see DeWine and his fellow conspirators stripped, made to wear orange jumpsuits, shackled together, and loaded on a ship that would take them to some distant and desolate island, maybe in the Pacific Ocean, and dump them there so they are unable to subvert the Bill of Rights, not that most Americans would care one way or the other. Most Americans, it would seem, believe liberty is the freedom to buy, consume, and watch television.

Freedom is an Xbox and three or four Budweisers during a football game.

DeWine and his fellow criminal collaborators have no interest in debating what does not need to be debated—they simply want to "put that beyond us" and continue the fast track process of erecting a police state in America—and with the passage of the Patriot Act, with its myriad constitutional violations, they are well on their way. It's down hill from here on out. In fact, it may now be too late to turn the juggernaut around.

Earlier today, listening to "talk radio" in the car, I heard Sean Hannity, his voice thick with disgust, complaining about the "agenda-driven" opponents of his court appointed president.

Damn, right, Sean—some of us are "agenda-driven" and that agenda is the Constitution. His fawning call-ins were so disgusting I snapped off the radio and had a few choice words I will not repeat here. Obviously, around half of the population is so stupid—or stupefied by fear of government-created terrorists—they have no problem killing what is left of the Bill of Rights. It's said you cannot lose freedom if you don't know what it is.

Mike DeWine is eager to exclude Bush's NSA wiretapping program from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. In other words, DeWine no longer believes the government needs a court-issued warrant (even if that court is secret, as the FISA court is) to snoop "al-Qaeda" phone calls, although it should be obvious to a ten year old presented with the facts that the government is not listening in on such phone calls, largely because they do not exist. Instead, as Sen. Lindsey Graham told Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, the NSA snoop program is about "Fifth Columnists," that is to say Americans the Straussian neocons consider disloyal and who sympathize and collaborate with the enemy (in other words, those Americans who oppose the invasion and occupation of Iraq).

Mike DeWine and Lindsey Graham are cut from the same cloth—in fact, virtually the entire Congress is cut from this traitorous cloth.

It won't be long now. Bush and his Machiavellian neocon co-conspirators will endeavor mightily to kill off what remains of the Bill of Rights and eventually they will round-up the "Fifth Columnists," that is to say Americans who vocalize their alarm and disgust over the murder of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and the generational "clash of civilizations" war now well underway. Halliburton is building camps as I write this. If you think you will not end up in one of these "Civilian Inmate Labor" camps (see this Army generated document for a glimpse of things to come), think again. In the not too distant future, simply reading this blog will be considered a punishable crime. In fact, the way things are going, blogs such as this will not be allowed on the internet, as they now aren't in China, thanks in part to technology provided by Google and other corporations.

I can only hope an appreciable number of my fellow Americans will come to their senses—and soon. Of course, we no longer tar and feather criminals such as Mike DeWine and Lindsey Graham—instead, we vote them out of office.

However, it is even too late for that because the Straussian neocons control the electronic voting machines. For some reason this absurdity is not even on the radar screen of the average American.

Democrats will not save you or the Constitution because they basically agree with the Straussian neocon Republicans, as the vote results on the Patriot Act so nauseatingly demonstrated yesterday.

Most Americans, it would seem, believe liberty is the freedom to buy, consume, and watch television

With a gutted PC school curriculum, nothing in their heads for comparison and the pop media blasting "Buy, Buy, Buy." instead of " Work, Work, Work.",

what else is there to do ?

Bush and his Machiavellian neocon co-conspirators

Machiavellian? Doubtful; Marxist roots, most likely.

"The prefix "neo" can denote that many of the movement's founders, originally liberals, Democrats or from socialist backgrounds, were new to conservatism, but can also refer to the comparatively recent emergence of this "new wave" of conservative thought, which coalesced in the early 1970s from a variety of intellectual roots in the decades following World War II. It also serves to distinguish the ideology from the viewpoints of "old" or traditional American conservatism." -Wikipedia

Could post WWII reference the Frankfurt School?
