Rainbow PUSH Coalition leader Rev. Jesse Jackson claims President Donald Trump will not be allowed into Heaven due to his stance on illegal immigration.
Jackson made his stunning condemnation on Monday in Washington D.C. while addressing a group at the National Action Networks Ministers March for Justice.
An event page created for the March defined its purpose:
The Department of Justice and the current administration are undermining Dr. Kings Dream. We are marching to reaffirm that religious leaders will recommit to being at the forefront of social justice and civil rights.
Jackson told the crowd, Trump says you must be able to speak the language, English, [to be] qualified and have a job skill.
Ironically, he struggled to speak the words as he read the statement.
Jesus would not qualify to come in Trumps country. And [Trump] would not qualify to get into Jesus kingdom, the reverend declared.
The biblical or theological rationale used by Rev. Jackson to arrive at such a conclusion is unclear.
Conveniently ignored by the Rev. Jackson is Romans chapter 1, verse 1: Therefor you have no excuse, o man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgement on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same thing. (ESV)
Also in attendance at the march was noted race hustler, Rev. Al Sharpton, who used his speech to rail against the administrations policies, voting rights and healthcare.
