Trump Caves on DACA, Wants ‘Quick’ Amnesty for 800K Illegal Aliens

In a meeting with establishment politicians from the Problem Solvers Caucus and the Blue Dog Coalition, President Trump signaled a full-fledged cave on the issue of giving amnesty to nearly 800,000 illegal aliens currently protected by an Obama-created executive immigration program.

Although Trump is looking at pushing through a clean amnesty bill for DACA recipients, he did mention during the meeting, according to Cuellar, the possibility of passing Sen. Tom Cotton’s (R-AR) pro-American worker “RAISE Act,” which cuts legal immigration in half, in exchange for amnesty.

Trump’s cave to DACA amnesty comes just a day after the White House Legislative Affairs Director Marc Short said the administration would look at exchanging amnesty for tax cuts. Short, as Breitbart News reported, is a former executive with the pro-mass immigration billionaires, the Koch brothers.

Trump: "No Deal Was Made Last Night On DACA... The Wall Will Be Built"

It has been a confusing 18 hours in Washington, D.C., and it’s all centered around the latest supposed deal between President Trump and the two leaders of the minority party, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

At around 9:55pm ET on Wednesday night, Schumer and Pelosi announced a deal with Trump that would make permanent protections provided by President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy and, notably, not include funding for a border wall with Mexico.

BREAKING: Schumer, Pelosi announce deal with Trump to protect young immigrants; will include border security, but no wall.

— The Associated Press (@AP) September 14, 2017

!function(e,t,r,n,c,h,o){function a(e,t,r,n){for(r='',n='0x'+e.substr(t,2)|0,t+=2;t-1&&(h.href='mailto:'+a(h.href,t+o.length))}catch(e){}for(c=e.querySelectorAll('.__cf_email__'),n=0;n

If true, the deal would have been a major win for Schumer, Pelosi, and Democrats – getting the president to make permanent a program he once opposed, without insisting on payments for his top immigration priority, a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

But Trump, in a Thursday morning tweetstorm, said there was “[n]o deal” on DACA on Wednesday night:

No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote.

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2017

Trump also reiterated his support for both the “WALL” and for DACA:

The WALL, which is already under construction in the form of new renovation of old and existing fences and walls, will continue to be built.

Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!…..

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2017

…They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own – brought in by parents at young age. Plus BIG border security

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2017

Trump expanded on his comments outside the White House on Thursday morning, saying Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) are “on board” with DACA, and correcting a reporter who suggested DACA is “amnesty.”

Asked whether he favors "amnesty," @POTUS – boarding Air Force 1 – shouted back: "The word is DACA."

— Hallie Jackson (@HallieJackson) September 14, 2017

As of Thursday morning, it’s unclear whether a deal will emerge, or what the parameters of that deal might be. However, Trump seems adamant on both building a wall and protecting so-called DREAMers, undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally by their parents.

Trump denies 'deal' with Democrats on young immigrants, DACA

WASHINGTON (September 14, 2017) — President Donald Trump denied Thursday an assertion by Congress' top two Democrats that they reached an agreement with him that would preserve protections for young immigrants in the U.S. illegally while providing border security enhancements, but not the Southern wall he has coveted.

"No deal was made last night on DACA," known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, Trump tweeted before daybreak Thursday, contracting a characterization of a private White House dinner Wednesday night by his guests, Sen. Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

The agreement claimed by Schumer and Pelosi represents the latest instance of Trump ditching his own party to make common cause with the opposition.

Either way, it was the second time in two weeks that Trump cut out Republicans to reach a deal with Pelosi and Schumer. A person briefed on the meeting, who demanded anonymity to discuss it, said the deal specifies bipartisan legislation called the DREAM Act that provides eventual citizenship for the young immigrants.

House Republicans would normally rebel over such an approach, which many view as amnesty for law-breakers. It remains to be seen how conservatives' loyalty to Trump will affect their response to a policy they would have opposed under other circumstances.

The House's foremost immigration hardliner, GOP Rep. Steve King of Iowa, made clear that he, for one, was not happy.

It didn't take long for the Deep State to send Trump's life raft back towards the Big Suck.

From Pastor and former 2-time Constitution Party nominee for POTUS Chuck Baldwin:

Before Trump became President, the national debt grew exponentially, no matter which political party the President represented. In eight months after becoming President, Trump has exploded the size of the national debt to over $20 trillion--a record high.

So much for change.

Before Trump became President, G.W. Bush and Barack Obama superintended over massive and ever-growing illegal spying on the American people. Since becoming President, Trump continues massive and ever-growing illegal spying on the American people and is set to extend (maybe indefinitely) the act which federal police agencies use to justify their nefarious domestic spying practices.

So much for change.

Before Trump was elected, Republican and Democrat administrations conducted unconstitutional, unjust, and illegal wars all over the world--killing thousands of innocents. Barack Obama was elected on the promise of ending America's endless wars. He didn't. He escalated them. Donald Trump was elected on the same promise. But as soon as he became President, he, too, escalated America's foreign wars--killing thousands of innocents--and has brought the U.S. to the brink of global nuclear war.

So much for change.

Before Trump was elected, Barack Obama granted amnesty to over 800,000 illegals under DACA. Now, Trump has reached an agreement with congressional Democrats to permanently ensconce DACA into law and grant 800,000 illegals "quick" amnesty.

Again, so much for change.

Every new President is elected by people who believe they are voting for someone who is going to change things. People who wanted a change from the policies of Lyndon Johnson elected Richard Nixon. People who wanted a change from the policies of Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford elected Jimmy Carter. People who wanted a change from the policies of Jimmy Carter elected Ronald Reagan and G.H.W. Bush. People who wanted a change from the policies of G.H.W. Bush elected Bill Clinton. People who wanted a change from the policies of Bill Clinton elected G.W. Bush. People who wanted a change from the policies of G.W. Bush elected Barack Obama. People who wanted a change from the policies of Barack Obama elected Donald Trump.

For all of the “change” people have voted for, not much changes--except the federal government gets bigger, foreign wars get more numerous, the global elite get richer, and the liberties of the American people get pummeled.
