A number of readers have turned out to be excellent research assistants. In response to my articles, “The American Left: RIP,” and the two follow-ups, “The Absurdities Mount” and “Goodbye Western Civilization,” readers have supplied the following. A white male professor of philosophy has discovered that in order to have an academic career in these days he must find “white privilege” everywhere. Professor John Caputo, according to this report, has found white male privilege in reason itself. Reason, says Professor Caputo, “is a white male Euro-Christian construction.” Since reason is white, reason is not neutral. It implies that what is not white is not rational. “So white is philosophically relevant and needs to be philosophically critiqued.” Professor Caputo ties into University of California professor Sara Giordano who defines science as a “colonial and racialized form of power” that “must be replaced with an anti-science, antiracist, feminist approach to knowledge production.” I can’t say that this would be all bad. This way we wouldn’t have nuclear weapons and the frustrating digital age. But before I vote for it, I want to know what feminist science is. I have a disturbing feeling that it brings with it the genocide of the white heterosexual male. After all, if white heterosexual males are responsible for all the evil and ills of the world, how can we tolerate their existence? Now we have the transgendered in kindergarten. Do you think a country as screwed up and divided as the United States is capable of standing up to Russia, China, and Iran? If not, what insanity is causing Washington to provoke these capable, determined and united countries? Considering the economic, political, and cultural demise of the United States, how much longer do you think there will be a liveable life here? The failure of America, indeed of Western civilization, seems to be total. How much longer can it last? WRONG! It is white WOMEN who are responsible for establishing civilization.They needed it to provide for and protect themselves and their children,and regardless of what the femi-nazi's and other airheads claim,women generally get their way by nagging. Men just aren't mentally or emotionally equipped to deal with or ignore nagging,so we give in to make it go away. It ain't pretty,but there it is. The president's key finance aide has called for some of the farmers whose properties were confiscated in a land seizure programme to be allowed to resume growing crops to boost the country's flagging agricultural output. Gideon Gono, governor of the central bank and Mr Mugabe's main policy maker, made the proposal as he announced a 31% devaluation of the Zimbabwe currency. "In order to ensure maximum productivity levels, there is great scope in the country promoting and supporting joint ventures between the new farmers with progressive-minded former operators," said Mr Gono in a state radio and television broadcast that lasted nearly three hours. He added that the skilled whites and other new investors would be given special guarantees of uninterrupted tenure of five to 10 years, backed by government force to prevent any disruptions on the farms. Mr Gono was careful to say that it would not reverse Mr Mugabe's redistribution of white-owned land to blacks. However, observers say his plan would be an implicit admission that the land seizure policy has failed. A Zimbabwean economist, John Robertson, said: "This shows the desperation of the government to improve the economy. They say it is not a reversal of their land seizures, but it is. It won't get very far. "I don't think many farmers will take up the offer because they would have to give up their title deeds and lease their land back. But the devaluation falls far short of the Z$25,000 that one US dollar (55p) fetches on Zimbabwe's thriving black market. Mr Gono reduced by half his forecasts of the country's economic growth, to 2.5%. That figure is viewed as unrealistic by economists, who point out the five consecutive years of economic decline. John Worsley-Worswick of Justice for Agriculture said: "This is a puppet show and it's not going to solve things. Gono is a master of spin and he is saying that he can fix things. But the reality is that the few farmers who have managed to stay on their land are being hammered by the military. No,WESTERN civilization is a white FEMALE construct.
