This was a different time when we had lawful money.

I may have misspoken previously about the financing of the Revolution.

There has been no lawful money since June 5, 1933 when the gold standard was abrogated. Now since the founding of the Federal Reserve, the Dollar has lost from 92% to 98% of its value depending on which site you look at. ;)
