When I start working for State of Illinois in 1980, my first crew assignment was on the crew that did all the miscellaneous work. There were four guys on it who were Jews. The called it "the Jew Crew" because of this one fact.

One of them had a really good looking daughter. I asked him once if his daughter might go on a date with me. He said, "With a Shagetz like you?"

I did not know what he meant until one of the other Jew boys explained it to me. Shagetz is opposite of Shiksa. ;)
