There is a public High School in Chicago named Amundsen. That is where I took driver's education. We were practicing parallel parking. This girl was behind the wheel. She cut the wheels, looked over her shoulder and hit the gas. She forgot to put it in reverse and crashed the car. They flunked her. Such is life in the big city. LOL
Sounds like a fun packed city.. :)

My first car was a 1976 Blazer with lock out hubs, a six cylinder engine and three on the tree. I went all over the country with that collecting minerals, even out to Bingham, New Mexico at the Blanchard Mine. Then down to Arkansas to collect quartz and other things. I put a lot of great miles on it. I sold it to one of my neighbors in Chicago. He pulled the straight six and put in a V-8. He blew up the rear end and then could not find parts. They did not make many of those 4.11 rear ends. And the bum never paid me in full for it. He got drunk in Wisconsin, went off the road and hit a tree and killed himself. Pay backs are a bitch. He left a wife and 2 kids behind. Long ago and now they are grown, that is if they are still alive. ;)
