There's little doubt that we've been lied to for our entire lives. That being said ... someone able to fly high enough to see for themselves (and photograph) that the earth is flat would have reported it wouldn't they ?

I have a clue...Expanding earth is correct and subduction is a lie. Plate tectonics are a lie. Think about all the copper telephone line laid on ocean floor, and the High speed fiber optic computer cable deep on ocean floor, did the mega corps take any precautions against subduction... NO because they didn't need too. If plate tectonics were real shooting some Radio transponders into the dirt would be IDEAL for mapping out and tracking contential drift .. if all that fairy tail were real. IT Aint. Continental drift aint. Expansion is and the mainstream scientists HATE IT BECAUSE THEY CANT EXPLAIN IT. But geology is a softer simpler science because a rock cant lie. A rock doesn't have feelings to hurt. A rock can only be eroded so many different ways, it can only be one age, Theirs a lot of truth to rocks and the truth is that the ocean floors are eons younger than the land masses. Pangea is a lie. When you reverse picture , everything fits like a glove.

Imagine those intrepid sailors of long ago from Oceania? Long ago they wondered why if standing on a mountain on their island, off in the distance appeared another island. Go down to the seaside and the island disappeared. From that they became sea faring travelers.
The special trick the Polynesians learned was to tack upwind into the unknown. Whether or not they found new land, they had a plan to get back home. The Pacific Ocean does not suffer fools gladly.
