A possible inconsistency here, but I'm unsure. Perhaps you can clarify.
The Auligs have war canoes on Harborville Island (I think it is) and will allow ships to enter, but not to exit. And yet one of the ships the Sally's High Touch passed had apparently neared Northcraven city having witnessed the chain blocking the harbor entrance. That being the case how did that ship manage to escape past Harborville Island on it's way out, apparently without conflict?
But perhaps, as this was the story relayed to Captain Berrol and the reader did not "witness" this happening, the account was not entirely accurate for an as yet unrevealed reason. But I did notice this.
"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men." -- Samuel Adams (1722-1803)
"Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God." -- Thomas Jefferson
