Iran's Defense Ministry on Monday unveiled Mohajer 6 drone equipped with Qaem precision-guided bomb during a ceremony attended by Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. The minister noted that the new Iranian drone was capable of sending intelligence to control and command centers during day and night and could take off from and land on short runways. During recent years, Iran has made major breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing important military equipment and systems. In December 2016, the Iranian Armys Ground Forces unveiled two domestically designed and manufactured drones on the final day of major military exercises code-named Mohammad Rasoulallah IV (Mohammad, the Messenger of God IV) in southeastern Iran. One of the two aircraft, code-named Oqab (Eagle), is a combat drone capable of carrying air-to-surface missiles. The other, which is code-named Shahin (Falcon) and has been developed and manufactured under a project code-named Shahid Mohsen Ghotaslou, can collect information on the positions and movements of enemy forces through reconnaissance missions. It boasts a flight endurance of 24 hours. Irans Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) also in October 2016 unveiled the recently-manufactured combat drone called Saeqeh (Thunderbolt). The drone was put on show on Saturday at an expo showcasing the latest achievements by the IRGCs Aerospace Division in the UAV industry. Iran has also conducted military drills to enhance the defense capabilities of its armed forces and to test modern military tactics and state-of-the-art army equipment. The Islamic Republic maintains that its military might poses no threat to other countries, stating that its defense doctrine is merely based on deterrence. Zionist entity is all bark and a one BOMB job. The 9 active Zionist air bases from Negev to North Palestine can be shut down in the first strike with bomb crater and delayed fuse cluster ammo. The Zionists are mistaken if they think Hezbollah and SAA are the cowardly sell-out Egyptians. Even after Sadat sold them out in 1973, the Syrians fought like lions at Sasa Ridge and blocked the Zionists who had committed their whole Airforce against Syria after Sadat sold out Hafel al Assad to the Jew Kissinger. Very well designed UAV, however since the Zionist criminals keep on threatening to turn Lebanon into "stone age", Iran, Syria and all Zionist free nations must put priority on air defence SAM systems and interceptor jets like SU-35. The Zionist cowards ground force is made up of worthless welfare punks and will not stand a chance against Hezbollah, Iran or even SAA, however they like US cowards drop bombs on civilians, so there should be tit for tat retaliation against Zionist hovels and a strong air defence. Iran is one the top 3 makers of drones and very good quality battle tested ones. The new Mohajer 6, are equipped with the smart Qa'em precision-striking bombs and different electro-optical explorers and different warheads, [and] can trace, intercept and destroy the target with very little noise of electronic signature. They also have a very long target loiter time and can stay airborne for more than 12 hours. They would be ideal for hunting terrorists in Syria and the region. Iran has been a hot bed of activity since the U.S. CIA and Britain's SIS in 1953 overthrew the government of Mossadegh claiming it was Communist. The Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi was installed in his place and ruled until his regime was overthrown by the Iranian Revolution. It was during this time that the U.S. Embassy was seized by radical students and this lead to the Iran Hostage Crisis which lasted for 444 days from November 4, 1979, to January 20, 1981. ;)
