When I live in Illinois and work for the State Highways, the Bridge Crew was fixing a handrail on a bridge along the Dan Ryan Expressway on south side near where the projects (black housing) were located.
The bullets started to ping off the concrete. They dropped the tools and jumped in the trucks and got out of there.
Now you know that in CHA housing which was subsidized, people were not allowed to have guns.
I knew a cop in Chicago and when they got a call at (near North side) Cabrini-Greene, he told me they would go in there and the bed would be made up nice and neat. They would flip up the mattress and there was the pistol. LOL
