Free Porn Weekend - Clermont Fellowship Church

Clermont Fellowship Church in Clermont, Florida, will host a FREE Porn Weekend, March 11th & 12th, 2006 to help raise community awareness about the issues surrounding pornography. The church will host the events in the auditorium at East Ridge High School (13322 Excalibur Road, Clermont). Clermont Fellowship Lead Pastor Tom Casolaro says, "It's time the church talks about porn." To assist in the events, Clermont Fellowship will bring in Craig Gross, pastor and founder of http://XXXchurch.com, and former porn star and prostitute Shelly Lubben. Gross and Lubben will tackle the issues surrounding America's porn problem.

Porn Weekend kicks off this Saturday, March 11th at 6:00pm, with former porn star Shelly Lubben relating her mission to "smash the illusion of porn, expose pornographers and supporters of porn, and help people break the chains of sexual addiction."

Gross, co-founder of the four-year old XXXchurch, will speak about his outreach into the porn industry as well as his experience with people who are addicted to porn. Gross will show his award-winning documentary Missionary Positions on Sunday, March 12th, at 6:00pm followed by a Q & A time, also held at East Ridge.

Clermont Fellowship has been active in the Clermont community since September 2005. Casolaro says, "Porn is at epidemic proportions, it's destroying families, churches, and the fabric of our society, and it's time the church stands up and says something. We want to offer hope and help people heal and build solid relationships with each other and God. Porn is 24/7 and the community needs to know we are here for them."
